UTS Hockey Club has a proud and successful tradition in Indoor Hockey. In fact, the Club itself was originally founded back in 1982 at NSW Institute of Technology Indoor Hockey Club!
Every year, the Club enters teams in the Sydney Indoor Hockey Association. We compete in the top mens competition, the Super 8s, involving the top 8 teams in Sydney. We also enter teams into mens A grade and B grade competitions. Our mens B2 team won their division in 2001.
Womens teams are also entered, with our C grade team winning their competition in 1999.
Always popular are the mixed B-grade teams. Both B1 and B2 teams made the semi finals in 2001, with the B1s taking out the final for the second year in a row.
All games are played at the State Sports Centre, Homebush, on weeknights. Season run from October to March, with a break over the Xmas-New Year period.
