At our glittering 25th Anniversary Cocktail Party, on May 26, we will be announcing the
UTS Hockey Club - Teams of the Quarter Century
One mens and one womens team will be selected, of the best players to ever wear the teal, white and navy of UTS Hockey Club.
This is a very prestigious honour, and we are inviting all club members to nominate players they feel would be worthy of selection in these teams.
The selection panel consists of current club members, who have had at least 10 years association with the club as Executive members, coaches, selectors or managers, right back to the club formation in 1983.
The Panel is Paul Economides, Paul Kelly, Fiona Telfer, Brett Tull and Peter Dobrijevic.
Selection Criteria
In order to be selected, a player must:
- have played a minimum of 2 full seasons for UTS Hockey Club in Sydney Hockey competitions (SHA/SWHL or similar)
- have played in the highest UTS grade of that year/era when nominated
- contributed to the overall success of the team whilst a player
- contributed to the success and development of UTS Hockey Club as a whole.
Nominations are due via return email, no later that 5pm Tuesday, May 8
