Seasons Greetings
We would like to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope everyone is enjoying the silly season with good food, good drink and good company.
We should all look forward to the New Year and what will be a successful and prosperous year for UTS Hockey Club. In 2010 we face a challenge of playing great hockey and reclaiming our position as a club of premiership winners across all grades, and winning our way back into Metro League 1.
So how do we achieve this?
The answer is simple...it's YOU and YOUR COMMITMENT
- Commitment to training both pre-season and training throughout the season.
- Commitment to the club, supporting our club on and off the pitch.
- Commitment to your team, commit to your team mates and your coach so that we can work together to achieve our goals.
- Loyalty to UTS Hockey Club, stick by your team mates, your coaches and administrators who work so hard to give YOU a club that is well-organised, exciting, and a place to make life-long friendships. Whilst we have had a few poor seasons of results in our top teams, now is the time to work harder than ever before to return us to the top of ladder, and earn promotions to higher grades. It is not the time to abandon the Club in search of better personal opportunities.
Already many changes have taken place with support from a wide spectrum of club members. We look forward to seeing everyone at our fitness sessions that will begin in early January. We are working to improve these sessions and make them appealing and accommodating for all fitness levels. We need to get up and move together towards OUR SUCCESFUL 2010!
To assist with planning over the coming weeks, could you please email us and advise if you will NOT be playing with UTS in 2010, preferably over the next few days. Otherwise, we expect to see you all when training commences in January!!
