Welcome to the 2010 Season!
Preseason fitness is underway & turf training is to commence in February (See Newsletter for dates & times).
Preseason Has been a success, however it is disappointing that the girls are far outnumberong the Men in attendance. If we want to win games, especially at the beginning of the season we all need to be fitter & stronger!
If you can do a 2 km time trial in less than 8 minutes, let's see you prove it! Rather than sitting on your ass on the lounge! There are girls running at this pace!
On another note the competition looks this way: Premier League will have 12 teams, Div 2 10 & Div 3 12 teams. Fitness will play an important role this year especially in Premier League and Div 3 with 22 round games.
We are also interested in finding coaches & Managers for the Div 3 teams, if you believe you are the person, send me an email at jasonselby1975@yahoo.com.au
Also if any player is not choosing to play this year in 2010 for whatever reason, can also please email me at jasonselby1975@yahoo.com.au as teams need to organised & organising 6 teams is no easy feat.
2009 was a success for the middle grades, let'e make it a great year for all grades.
