Club members are invited to attend the AGM, being held at 10am on Saturday Nov 26, at our new club rooms adjacent to Pitch 2, Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre.

Hook in2 Hockey at UTS is back, and this time in a new location, utilising our new Club House at Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre. UTS Hockey Club will be running a 6 week development programme on Tuesday afternoons from 4.30pm-5.30pm on Pitch 2, commencing November 1.

The 2011 Eastern University Games will be held in Canberra, from the 4th – 8th July. These Games serve as a qualification tournament for the Australian University Games to be held on the Gold Coast in late September.

Sixteen of our Hook in2 Hockey participants were lucky enough to escort the Argentinean team on to the pitch before their Test Match against Australia on Sunday.

Its time to nominate and register for Indoor Hockey 2010. UTS Hockey Club has a proud tradition in Indoor Hockey, winning many premierships and entering the most teams every season.

Thank you to all who attended. We had a great night with over 100 in attendance, and raised over $3,200 for our Australian University Games teams, for their trip to Perth in September.

It was 9am on Sunday, 11th July and fifth-placed UTS4 were set to play second-placed Briars 4, who had conceded only 3 goals all season.

Everyone must always park in the P4 car park, even if they have a game/training/umpiring on Pitch 2, unless there is a major event on (read more for full details)

It is my solemn duty, and with great sadness, that I inform all members of UTS Hockey Club of the sudden passing of Romeo Carinci.

For 8 Sunday mornings since May 2, UTS Hockey Club organised a great Junior Development Programme, and we had a FANTASTIC turn out.

Reports from Games 5/6 Sep, including details of u15s PREMIERSHIP!!!

On a cold Sunday evening no one could be sure if it was the Olympic spirit or sheer determination that assisted us on the pitch. But the terms “magical” and “inspirational” have been used to describe this victory. Marva Collins once said “Success doesn’t come to you…you go get it” and as a team that’s what we accomplished during the game.

This game will hopefully be a turning point in the team’s performance for the remainder of the season. The whole team started with a revitalized purpose with the focus on teamwork, commitment and support.

The annual hockey gala day is on again! This is the only opportunity to watch our mens and womens 1st grade squads in action on the same day, at the same venue, as they battle traditional rivals Burwood Briars, for the Streeter-Robinson Cup. Please come and support our teams – a tremendous opportunity to see our best players in action. Game times are listed below, all games played at Cintra Park, Burwood.

It was so close for our womens 1st Grade team in the MetroLeague Div 1 Grand Final for 2003....

Matthew Smith, a 150 game veteran of the Australian Men's Hockey team, The Kookuburras, has signed to play for UTS for the next 3 years.

With a game based on all out attack, UTS Womens 1st grade dominated the grand final against Glebe, winning the Premiership 3-1.

The UTS Mens B2 Indoor team completed another undefeated season with a solid 4-1 victory over rivals Campus, in the Final of the Sydney Indoor B2 competition.

Congratulations to Scott McGlin, mens 1st grade goal keeper, who has been selected to play in the U21 Australian Indoor side which will be touring New Zealand at the end of the year.

Congratulations to our mens team that just won the GOLD MEDAL at the Aus-East University Games, in Coffs Harbour.
